So you’ve picked your yarn and now you need to learn how to actually begin. Below you will find all the stitches you’ll need to know to begin and advance in knitting, some of which, I have included left-handed versions as well. I have included how to cast on your stitches onto your needle as well as some helpful tips and tricks that will help you on your way.
Decreasing Stitches
Slip Slip Knit (or Purl) – SSK or SSP
Knit/Purl 2 together – K2tog or P2tog
